after the battle, after everything, bruce hoped that they ( the world, the heroes, the universe ) would be able to rest. they would be able to take a deep breath without fear, without overwhelming loss but he knew he was being ( a fool ) optimistic. bruce’s arm is a charred to bits ( flexing his fingers make him almost pass out ) &. he’s not the only one to suffer.
‘ steve, you been doing okay ? ‘ he didn’t expect this, sending steve off to return the time stones &. to come back deserumed. it still makes guilt churn deep within bruce’s belly to the point where he feels almost ill. ‘ do you need anything ? ‘
