   The third day had been the only one out of the three where Momo had decided not to volunteer on. Probably a good idea since the first two days had kept her busy, but this had mostly been decided do to the plans she had made with Jirou.

   The second her friend had asked to spend the day with her Momo had agreed. She hadn't even really thought about it answering the other with yes in seconds. She had been excited to spend another day with Jirou.

   So it came as no surprise that she was sitting at the decided meeting spot early waiting for Jirou to show. Momo had been a little restless last night and had even done her morning run a little earlier than usual today. It had been a better idea then laying in bed staring at the ceiling for another hour.

   It had been a little more crowded here then she had expected so when she spotted Jirou coming she rose from her seat and waved at her calling out.

   "Jirou!" 

   "You ready~?" Momo wasn't entirely certain what they were going to end up doing today, but she did know they were ending it with watching the lanterns together. Until then it was just time they would spend together doing whatever managed to catch their eyes.

Alright. It’s been days, and the thought hadn’t left their head. It’d be fun to try and be in a band, wouldn’t it?

This was possible... Really, it was! Maybe. They’re probably not even remotely the skill level she needed. But...

“jirou-chaaaaan~”, he sings, as he struts towards her, then takes her hands to squeeze them. he may just make an idiot of himself, but he’d be the last person who’d realize it. “i’m so so soooo happy that you’re here!” he exclaims with a smile. “i guess us being here means fate, don’t cha think?”

whatever he’s currently trying, he just hopes it’d flatter the girl in a way. or he’s just being the dork and the idiot he’s known for.

“S-sorry! It’s uh. It’s a lot of long stories strung together in one epic tale of suck. Just fucking awful. And not like, mundane awful things, either. Like...”

Their right pant leg was rolled up a bit to reveal the prosthetic underneath briefly, then let down again.

“Yeah. And losing half my leg wasn’t even the worst part of November. B-but it, um... should, statistically not be so bad this month. So...”

                Here these two are, on their way to lunch! Shouto has his hands in his pockets as always, and also like always is he radiating a heat to rival the December cold. Mostly he’s just following Jirou to wherever she wants to go.

While she never would have said it aloud the blonde had initially had her doubts about the band and it’s chance of succeeding in such a place. But the positive reactions that had followed their first live performance weeks prior came as a relief. Finally Rin was able to do what she loved the most and while her gigs with other Vocaloids had always been competitive it was a nice change of pace to play alongside a group of people who were only doing this for their own enjoyment rather than for fortune or fame. With these people the android never has to worry over whether one of them would be favored over the rest or if she would be rebooted should her performances not be considered up to par. And as such she had finally gotten a chance to befriend her band mates rather than despise them in secret.

Her friendship with Jirou, in particular, had bloomed rather quickly ever since the girl had first interviewed Rin back when auditions to join were still in the process of being held. They had bonded quickly over a shared passion and only seemed to grow closer in the time spent together through rehearses, planning and, now, everything in between. 

Truth be told the blonde didn’t actually need any assistance when it came to shopping but any excuse to spend time with a friend was good enough. So when she spots the other further ahead, standing out among the crowd of strangers Rin wastes no time in surging forward, calling out to the girl as she weaves in and out through the sea of people serving as nothing more than obstacles in her path.

“Jirou!”

Before the other has time to react the blonde is already hooking her arm through the other’s, grinning up at her as she tugs her along. “Sorry I’m late! Were you waiting long?”
