Once upon a time, Nat would have defined herself as a trained killer. A weapon used in a war unseen by the general public. She was often sent in to take care of a situation behind the scenes. Her life was defined by a lot of death, trauma, and plenty that she would rather forget. The switch to SHIELD was probably the first choice that she had made for herself, even if the choice had started out as self preservation. Now, she is trying to balance the scales of her life and wipe all the hurt and death that came from her own hands.

Nat was there for the creation of the Avengers and ultimately the invasion of Thanos. She's one of the original members of the Avengers and has done her best to help with missions around the world, as well as training potential new members.
what parts of their life in earth 001 are different from canon ? how ? at her graduation from the red room, natasha was given a version of the super soldier serum that the soviets had. Though hers is different from Caps-- she is no super soldier. But she is immune to most illnesses and ages far slower than the average person.
are there things in this life that they would want to change ? if so, what ? There are a lot of things that Nat would change about her life but that kind of thinking is a distraction. Reality is what it is and everyone, including Nat, has to face it for what it is.

Nat has been no stranger to bad dreams. Her life has always been reliving a bad dream after bad dream. The only difference for this particular dream is the sense of relief that she feels as she plummeting from a cliff definitely not of this world. Experiencing a death, her death, though, is new and jarring. Nat would be lying to say that it doesn't effect her.
