         EVELINE SHOOK HER HEAD IN DEFIANCE against octavia’s words !  expression sours , brows furrowing together as teeth bite on her lower lip━mind thinks over her words carefully as she wished to get her point across yet didn’t wish to anger octavia on accident.   she can’t stand hearing her speak as if she didn’t matter anymore , as if no one in this world loves her !     ❝ that’s bullshit && you know it.  ❞    called out eveline ,  lips down turned to accompany such a harsh statement , but  tone is soft when speaking.   (   it still holds firmness , but for octavia she’d show her weakness , her worry.  )   ;    ❝ you do deserve to be saved , wanna know why?  ❞  arms come to cross over her chest ,  brows arching in challenge.  ❝ you deserve to be saved because i love you && that HAS to mean something.  if you think no one in this world fucking loves you ,  know that i do && i always have. ❞  step is taken closer ,  ❝ it’s always been me && you against everyone else, o.  the decisions you’ve made , given the circumstances , do not define who you are.  you did the best you could with what you were given && no one , no one ! , can FAULT you for that. ❞   a lot of passion comes out into words.  ❝ fuck them if they do.  you don’t deserve that.  ❞   /  @earthbuilt   cont.

        THE FEEL OF HER HAND being grasped back sends a surge of reassurance through bella’s form !   good, she hadn’t overstepped or done something unwanted━which  was something the brunette was keen on doing even if it was on accident.  bella tended to be socially awkward, not really picking up on some queue’s from others . . very much someone who walks to the beat of her own drum.  this, however,  was something bella knew she WANTED━ octavia was good for her, a little different than she might have ever imagined  (  that she was a witch !  )   but they didn’t change how much she admired her nor how much she felt attracted to her.   once fingers were intertwined with one another, the other free hand worked on stuffing the rest of her books && binders into her bag that rested against her feet.  a soft smile finds it’s way onto features, eyes shifting over the the other brunette.    ❝ thank you, octavia. ❞   spoke bella, ❝ so are yours.  ❞  what else could she say ?   ;     ❝ alright━ ❞   bella says as she zips up her bag && manages to dig out the keys to her truck.   ❝ you ready to go?  i promised we could spend the entire weekend together && i intend to keep that promise. ❞   smile widens, keys jingling in palm.

     tender     action     bleeds     warmth    down     into     war    -    torn    bones    ,    a    (    soft     albeit    )    weary    sigh    shuddering    past     wind    -    chafed    lips    as    he    leaned    into    clarke’s    touch    like    it    was    the    only    thing    that    made    sense    anymore    .    their    race    against     the     clock     was    accelerating    at    an    inconceivably    rapid    rate    ,     each    attempt    at     finding     a    way     for    them    all    to    survive     turning     into     ash    in     their     hands    ,     and     bellamy     could     feel    the    hold     he     had     on     hope    fracturing     with     each     death    soaked    &    grief    wrought    day    that    passed    .     

     yet    somehow    ,     clarke’s     touch     eased     the     tension     that     sat     like    lead    within    his    limbs   ,    like    the    simple    brush     of     her    fingertips    sweeping    across    his    cheek    was    powerful     enough     to     lift     the    weight    of     the    world    off     atlas’     shoulders    .     even     here     on     the     ground     with    the    wind    in    her     air    instead    of    stardust    ,    she     was     still     celestial    .     weary    smile     quirks     upon    his     lips    ,    lifting     one     calloused     hand     to     curl     gently    around     her    wrist    .    ❛      you    look    tired    ,    princess    .      ❜      observation     manifests     in     a     low     murmur    ,      his    own     eyelids     threatening     to    droop     beneath     the    weight     of    days     worth    of    exhaustion    .      ❛      you     should     try     and    get    some    sleep    .     can’t    have    you    passing    out    while    we’re    trying    to    save    the    human    race    .      ❜

   ACTS OF AFFECTION !  /  @earthbuilt

        THE SOUND OF HER MOTHERS VOICE COULD EASILY LULL THE CHILD TO SLEEP ,  && it was !   the more eveline laid her head in clarke’s lap , the feeling of fingers running through long locks , the more eyes tempt themselves to flutter closed.   all is silent in eden ,  all is calm with no one in the world to bother them━both literally && metaphorically.   just mother && daughter relaxing from a day of fishing && tending to eden as much as they could.  (  they do everything together.   gather food , go on runs to surrounding areas , && spend time together.  )   ;     ❝ mommy. ❞     says the small six year old without lifting her head  yet eyes peel open && brows furrow in UNUSUAL concern.  a beat is taken as the child thinks over her words , a breath is drawn into lungs as the sounds of the outside , crickets && the subtle rustle of wind blown leaves , fill the silence.       ❝ will we ever be with them again? ❞    it’s a loaded question that a child doesn’t know the full weight of ,  yet it’s brought up so easily.   ❝. . with daddy ,  aunt octavia , && everyone else i mean.   they’ve been gone for a long time && you . .you always tell me they’ll be home soon , but they haven’t.❞   how do you explain that the world has ended for a second time to a child?   how do you tell them their father , their family ,  has been separated from them to SURVIVE a harsh would she’s never known?    you hardly can , not in a way that would completely make sense.    (   eveline has her mother yet she finds herself missing those she barely knew more.   when will they come home?  )   ❝ i miss daddy . . i miss them , mommy.  i miss them so much. ❞

   ACTS OF AFFECTION !  / @earthbuilt 

          HAVING HER HAIR  BRAIDED , OR PLAYED WITH ,  WAS ONE OF HER MOST FAVORITE THINGS AS A CHILD !    there was just something so relaxing about having someone run their fingers through your hair━it was always something octavia would do when fixing her hair or just something to relax her when she was a child or after a nightmare.  all eveline had to do is ask or sit upright in her bed , back turned ,  for octavia  to know what she wanted.  (  sometimes it was one of the only things that could be done to calm her down after a nightmare,  sometimes the only thing that could lull her back to sleep.  )   ;         ❝you used to do this all the time when i was little ,❞   recalls the teen with a soft smile on her face.  ❝ it always made me feel at PEACE , calmed down no matter what was goin’ on.  i look forward to when you’d asked to do something to my hair cause i knew it meant that you’d run your fingers through it.❞   those were HAPPIER times by a long shot , some of her favorite memories . . but no matter what’s going on eveline knows without doubt that when she’s beside her aunt , despite some of the choices she makes ,  will always be where she’s meant to be.   octavia is her best friend , one of them anyways . . one of the most IMPORTANT ,  && she’d never be who she was without her.
