The Barnabas day opportunities service is a lively and sociable hub where 58 adults that have a disability can access a range of opportunities, make new friends and learn new skills. The aim of the service is to enable those with a disability to get the most out of life by undertaking a range of activities throughout the day.
The Easter Fete is set to be lots of fun with a BBQ, raffle, stalls with homemade jewellery, cakes, sweets and jams, an Easter egg hunt, tombola and much more! All funds raised will go towards purchasing sensory equipment and toys for the service.
Lisa Stapley, Head of Barnabas, said: “We are very excited about the Easter Fete and really hope many people come along and support their local charity. The adults that attend the service have such a fantastic time here and we want to be able to give them even more opportunities. The local community’s fundraising efforts help enormously and we hope to see you there on 12 April.”
