His career began in 1996 at the famous Bob Baker Marionette Theater in Los Angeles. Four years later, he began to build and perform marionettes as Rasputin’s Marionettes. His premiere work of “Freakshow Follies” debuted in 2001, solidifying a grotesque and unique take on traditional marionette shows. With a continuously growing repertoire and cult following in Los Angeles, his edgy style has expanded to include a varied and unconventional slant on puppetry. From foul-mouthed adult monologues, to wanton burlesque dames, and shocking holiday characters, Rasputin’s Marionettes has pushed the envelope of what adult puppetry can showcase to shocked and amused audiences. 🎪🍏 His slight-of-hand skills have been seen on television in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Fox Network's Bones, Elvira’s 13 Nights of Halloween, Dragula and several commercial works.
