Pleased to announce my latest book, ‘We’re Going on an Egg Hunt’! The story follows the Easter Bunnies as they set off on a lift-the-flap Easter egg hunt.

There are ten eggs for children to find and count, with a wolfish surprise at the end.

‘We’re Going on an Egg Hunt’ was written in-house by the team at Bloomsbury publishing, and is based on the traditional 'We're Going on a Lion Hunt' rhyme (an old folk song), made famous by Michael Rosen’s re-telling, ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ (you can read more about the original inspiration for “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” here:

I adore drawing flowers, insects and other small details so this Spring-themed book was really fun to work on. This was my first lift-the-flap book so working out where the flaps would go and how they would work with the illustrations was a real challenge, especially on the last page with the wolf at the door, but I’m pleased with how they turned out overall. Watch out for the tiny ladybird that follows the bunnies through the book - one of my favorite additions!
