I actually remember reblogging that post of ping pong being a girl thinking "THIS is what XC needed " I didn't think or notice the white washing till u just pointed it out and,,, Yikes , that was really bad

yeah :^// i mean, it was years ago and a lot of the folks into xc at the time were much younger so i imagine a lot of them - including you - might not have been as well-read about stuff like whitewashing (theres a LOT of stuff i wasnt as well-read on, too) so i dont really blame you for not noticing. i dont even remember if anyone spoke out against it back then?
