HEADBANDS.
Accessories are an important part of any outfit and even more when you are the one sewing your own garments, you want them to look their best and headbands can help you do that.
The first one is a simple headband with elastic band in the back and you can easily transform the pattern by mixing colours, twisting it or even making a knot; and the finish is really good and effortless.
The chain headband is ideal to play with colours and patterns and looks very modern.
The turban needs a stretchy material and looks elegant and sophisticated, wether you wear it as a headband or as a turban.
The sequin headband is perfect for a special occasion or to spice up any outfit!!
This is en easy project and it has another advantage, you can make good use of all those little remnants you don’t know what to do with.
A few more stitches swatched! These are the last two basic stitches detailed in the book, so now I think its time for me to get on ravelry and find myself a project!
Hello again! My spring semester has started, and I've such a heavy workload I hadn't picked up crochet since it began 4 weeks ago.
But! A friend of mine got a new kitten, and so I wanted to make a toy for him (in exchange for baby snuggles)
So I finally got back at it, and here it is!
In my quarantine time, I've been trying out a method thats new to me! I got this book out of the library just before it closed for social distancing, and I'm searching out all the stitches it teaches! So far I've learned the basic, the knit stitch, and the twisted knit stitch. I'm really enjoying it!
I've just completed my first foray into the wonderful craft of cross-stitch!!! I had a ton of fun making this, and will definitely be doing more cross stitch in the future!!! (Without giving up crochet tho!!)
Huge thank you to @shitpostsampler for both the awesome pattern and the inspo to try a new craft!!! :]
A little friend! This is the first of two watermelon from the amigurumi kit, and I love it, even though I messed up on putting it together :3
