A tasty change to the original blondie recipe is these Salty Chocolate Chunk Blondies. When you mix rich chocolate chunks with a hint of sea salt, you get the perfect balance of sweet and salty tastes. They're simple to make and are great for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter. 1 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup chocolate chunks. Sea salt flakes for topping.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring every now and then, until it turns golden brown. Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit. Melt the butter and mix it with the brown sugar and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Mix everything together well. When you add the eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar, mix them in well. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined. The chocolate chunks should be evenly spread out after being added. Spread the batter out evenly in the baking pan that has been prepared. Put sea salt flakes on top of the bake mix. Before you put it in the oven, heat it up. Bake it for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out with wet crumbs on it. Take it out of the oven and let it cool in the pan for a full minute before cutting it into squares.
