George Collins Returns with a New Sound with Latest Single “Easy To Fall”
George Collins, the novelist, singer/songwriter, and storyteller recently released his newest indie rock song “Easy To Fall.” Unlike most songs in his repertoire, “Easy To Fall” sounds more jazzy and pop-like, more like a Tom Petty and The Beatles with a Michael Bublé undertone.
The song may sound a little different than the rest of his songs, but his poetic lyrics are still catchy and his soulful voice is still reliably melodic. His lyrical themes have also stayed true to the human experience with vulnerability and emotion.
“Easy To Fall” is bound to be a hit, as the music and lyrics work together to create a story of love everlasting. He sings “So you’ve broken up/But girl you know this ain’t the end/Through the bad times and the sad times that are coming/You can always count on me as your friend.”
