lots of chican@s do not like to identify as latin@ and strongly feel that they would rather be labeled as chican@ rather than latin@. other chican@s don't mind being called latin@. i wrote both to be inclusive!

Because I've been on the Internet long enough to know that people, when allowed to hide behind anonymity, are capable of saying horrific and hateful things that I can't even imagine. I don't like to invite people to be horrific and hateful in my space, and I respect myself and my followers enough to not engage in the level of discourse that anons usually spark. (Which is to say, name-calling and shit-flinging.)

I do respect anyone's request for anonymity. If you send an ask and ask me to either answer privately or anonymize it, I do. Always.
