I’m so upset that everyone die beside otabe and Sakura but there are rumors saying that otabe is gonna die .-. Next ep.

I won’t lie, this show’s got my sadistic streak all fired up, and my bet is on both of them - plus Center - kicking the bucket in the final episode next week. That said, if I were to bet on one person to survive, I’d actually put my money on Otabe, oddly. The preview, I think, hints slightly at Sakura’s death, so I’m thinking she’ll definitely go.

Otabe, though, seems to have built up a ‘tragic hero’ character, having lost everything she’s ever cared for, and I’d really like to see her be last one standing in order to take that idea to the extreme: as the only survivor of this bloody war, she’s the one to have to answer to the law, and to bear the burden of all the blood spilled around her, having to live with the deaths of all her friends and loved ones.
