Check out my giveaway! :)
Part 5 have definitely helped me. Over the last month it's improved so much since I started stretching for at least 30min a day. It sounds like heaps but I do it before and after I eat so it breaks it up throughout the day. Sorry for it being so long and hopefully your heels start to feel better :) if you don't know that stretch I was talking about before I can send you a picture of it :)
[p5] this has been super helpful! Thank you for all your tips seriously :) I will start increasing my stretches today for SURE seriously. And you should check out kt tape!!! It also helped my pulled hamstring last year!
Part 4 I think? Even buying shoes that are made for people that roll in or out (if you even do that) can help lots and is cheaper than seeing a specialist. Okay this is the actual last thing is like foam heel pads. I got some for like $5 nz and they helped a lot just because it made your shoes way more couishony but I found I didn't like wearing them with my running shoes so I just wore them with my converse ect. Hopefully all this helps I didn't mean for it to be so long but all of those
[p4]'l I've been considering buying some cushion for my flat shoes. My Kinvaras (which are new as well) have enough heel cushion - and I don't touch my heel down much during running. But my feet have gotten in loads of pain because of the amount of walking in flats I have done lately! So I will make sure to buy some cushion for my regular daily shoes
Part 3 are overweight then obviously you would need to lose weight to take the pressure off your feet. Lots of calf raises on a step or on one leg to add resistance. And I foam roll my calf muscles. Not sure if it actually helps or not but it feels nice. Last thing is to get your feet checked by a pediatrist especially if your feet/ankles roll inwards or you have flat feet because years ago all my knee problems were caused by my feet rolling in. If you can't afford that then even buying shoes
[p3]
Part 2 so it's for 5min each time and do like 30 seconds on each leg and then swap to the other leg. When you wake up the morning before you get out of bend you need to like sit up and do a forward bend with your legs straight and hold that for a couple of min so your muscles don't get a shock when you stand up since you've been relaxed all night. Also ice baths like you were already doing helps to reduce the swelling and pain. I'm assuming your not overweight since your a runner but if you
:) I am trying to lose some weight that I gained, been having issues with it for a long while though. Hopefully the weight thing doesn't matter as much though 😨 and I will make sure I do that in the morning! That is good to know
I've had it for months now and damn can it get sore. He didn't mention taping it how do you tape yours? Anyway you have to stretch the life out of your calf muscles. The stretch he got my to do was where you stand in front of a wall and put one foot in front of the other kind of like a lunge and then lean forward and you can feel it stretching in your back leg, ugh I'm such a bad explainer but I'm sure you'll know what I mean. So you have to do that 6-12 times a day for 5min each time part one
I love doing that stretch :) so that is good, I'll just do it more. This is how I taped my foot: http://www.bouldertherapeutics.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/plantar-fascitis-kinesio-taping-213x300.jpg , there are various ways to do it though. But that helped me LOADS the last time I had it. I need to go buy kt tape though, I don't have any with me! And I have the pain in both feet! Grr hA
Have you had planter fascistic (don't know if I spelled that right) before? Because I have it so if you want I can tell you what my pediatrist told me to do? :) it's such a pain but hopefully the ice bath helps!
Yeah I've had before - once, but not as painful as this time! 😭😭😭 I need to go buy some k-tape, that helped me LOADS last time. BUT GIVE ME ALL YOUR TIPS PLEASE
