This Me So Honey Blonde from those rascals at @belchingbeaver introduces itself with a deep orange-amber color, and is capped by a silky white head that slowly sinks to a long-lasting bubble sheet resting gently on top of this #beer. On the nose is warm #honey, delicate floral notes, clove spice, soft biscuit dough, and #honeysuckle. The taste swoons with honey, a lingering #malt sweetness and slightly toasted biscuit flavors. Coffee Porter counts as coffee in the morning, right? Although these are Spring beers in the alternate universe of beer seasons, there is still #snow in the #mountains, a nip in the air and still cold. So the January beer is Stone Squirrel, a coffee Porter.
