Well well well looks like its someone’s special day. If things would have been happening as planned right now, we would be together in Arizona where I had reservations for our whole touring party for the presidential booth at the annual mohave desert scorpion races. I even had purchased the birthday package where upon announcing the winner of the race, 2 middle aged ladies would come out dressed as scorpions and take off all of Daniel’s clothes in front of everyone before stinging him with their fake stingers in front of the vast crowd while Chains of Love by Erasure blasted over the PA… well, as we all know, times are weird right now, and alas I cannot be hanging out with my soul brother on his magical 26th birthday. But that DOES NOT MEAN that I cannot tell him and the rest of the world how much I love, and appreciate him. @iamdanielgraves you may not know this but I look up to you a lot. You are one of the few people who I know who have uncompromising integrity. Something that I strive for, and I am lucky to have you in my life to lead by the amazing example you have set, and to help me to realize my faults and to help me to hold myself accountable for things. Thank you for always being there for me through some really tough times and also some really great ones. Thank you for listening to all my insane ideas and never shutting me down. Thank you for being a shining light to me and so many others by sharing your talents and infectious tunes with us, and allowing me to participate in reenacting them live. Thank you for making me feel appreciated and for welcoming me and providing a platform for me to perform the way my soul feels it needs to. but MOST IMPORTANTLY, thank you for letting me eat ham off of your head in 2009.
