You are not here for the ambiance but for the steam chicken. Only free-range pullets are used before they lay their first egg because of their springy chicken, oily richness, silky fresh and robust flavor. Rice noodles and creamy congee are also reasons to visit. My stinky tofu experience was surprisingly normal and not as crazy as I thought it would be.
