Ear Biscuit #348 Sextember thoughts
How many times in the previous years has Link talked to us about being in love with his bidet (several times saying “he has perfected how to open and angle his ass” and once specifically saying “he wished his douche spray hit deep and hard enough to reach his throat” 👀) to now tell us he has never experienced a prostate orgasm? Not that it is impossible but... there are likely two Links and one is lying. It’s likely! (Imagine what his reaction will be if indeed he has not had a prostate orgasm yet, given his love for the bidet.) “One friend told me... that I should have it.” That good ol’ friend again...
Rhett: “Zero to anal. That’s exactly what we did!” ...... Ummm Rhett I trust we are still talking about the podcast conversation...right? XD
Rhett asking about how to tell comfortably to your partner you need to spice up your sex life especially when you don’t get the chance frequently to have a lot of time alone together and then Link saying “Right, and when do you tell them you have been having a butt plug in all along?” LINK!!! This is about couples, man! Stop lubing yourself in!!! Jessie was there for it!!! It’s interesting though that Rhett asked this question about the one partner being more hesitant, more sceptical, especially since he just said that both he and Jessie are an adventurous couple. At the same time, that GMM when Rhett had said he and Link are the most vanilla men ever still haunts me. Or that other episode where Rhett had cryptically joked “You have no idea how hard I try to teach him stuff” to which Link wittily replied “You should learn to shut up more”. And even in this EB episode itself, Link did come out as having kneejerk reactions that he has to consciously work around in order to embrace trying new things. Hmm 🧐
Everyone talking about Link making a fuss not knowing about the butt plug. Oh come on, he didn’t make THAT a fuss and also don’t ignore that Rhett eventually said he had actually told him, and then Link reasoned he must have erased it from his memory entirely which I find very unlikely, especially since that supposedly happened 15 years ago (2007) when they were still very uptight Evangelists and there’s no way Link with his exceptional memory wouldn’t remember his very heteronormative uptight Christian missionary friend telling him he tried a buttplug. So, either it wasn’t in 2007, or Rhett didn’t tell him (but they pretty much say everything) or Link was hyper-acting being surprised.
Honestly, now that I watched it, I think the whole gravity of what Rhett and Link said about the shippers has been exaggerated a bit. Rhett just asked what the people on tumblr would think if they also started describing their sex lives to each other in detail. In fact, I found Link’s response worse “I don’t think about those people”. Those…people. But still not much to truly care about it. It’s not like they will ever going to acknowledge our perspective, let alone the fact that there are multiple different perspectives about it among us too.
