Free eBay deal ends soon!
If “re-gifting” isn’t an option for that white elephant Christmas gift you received this year, dump, er I mean “auction” it on eBay.
eBay has been offering free auction listings over the last month or so, but the deal ends on January 7. Time is running out. Go snap a digital photo and upload your information. After this deal ends, eBay will start charging its regular insertion fees, which are based on the starting bid you require.
I just sold another one of the FoodSavers I picked up at a local liquidation outlet and I used eBay’s built-in label and postage payment system. There’s an online tutorial on how to do this...that I found after I went through the process.
You get delivery confirmation very cheap if you use this system. It only cost me 19 cents for the package I sent today. It’s more expensive if you go to the window at the Post Office.
To use eBay’s system to print out a label at home and pay for postage using your Paypal account, you need to have a good scale so you can input the exact weight and a measuring tape to input the dimensions of your package.
Usually I pray that my bathroom scale is weighing on the light side.
Today I hope it was accurate.
