Day 86 (365 Days of Giving)

The East Bay Asian Youth Center (EBAYC) is an organization that works with youth to inspire and engage. They work in the neediest communities and schools of Oakland with case management, after-school academic support, summer programs, medical and mental health support services. EBAYC is partnered with seven different schools.
What I really like about EBAYC is how they involve students in every aspect of the organization. The board of 32 members is almost 50% students, and they offer jobs and leadership positions specifically for high school students, HS graduates, college students and college graduates. An organization that is for kids and involves kids is so rare!
