EBEW : Pastel
Theres not much pastel in my closet. Just a few items here and there. So as much as I would've loved to wear a head to toe pastel outfit for this month's EBEW, this will have to do instead.
Which isn't a bad thing, because I happen to really really really (like, really) love this outfit. For as much as I love this skirt, I don't wear it nearly enough as I'd like. I don't know why. It is one of the items I got during my internship a few years ago. A designer sample sale is awesome, but an employee discount at a designer sample sale? Absolute heaven.
Don't forget to check out how everyone else is wearing there pastels today for EBEW!

January EBEW: Black & White
This month's pick over at Everybody Everywear is Black and White. The fun thing about this scheme is that it's not one I tend to go for a lot, so I had to go shopping in my closet for a new look. I kept things pretty simple with my go-to high-waist, mini skirt from Urban Outfitters. I wanted to choose an outfit that I would actually wear out and about, and I was happy with the look and feel of the end result.
Sweater: Banana Republic, Scarf: H&M, Belt: Zara, Skirt: UO, Ultra Knee Highs: DSW, Boots: Blowfish, Bangles: F21
I love Fran's choice for this EBEW. Her outfit is fun, fresh, versatile, and chic. I especially love the addition of the blazer. It's the perfect daytime look!

Do you like to wear black and white? Will you EBEW?

EBEW : Black And White
worn on January 7th, 2011
I wasn't sure how I felt about this outfit. I'm not really one to wear black and white from head to toe (hence my sneaking in of the chambray collar). But I figured it was EBEW day, so why not.
Another weird thing about this day? The weather was crazy nice! We got a break from the freezing cold temps, and it warmed up to nearly 50 degrees on saturday. If only it could stay this way.....
sweater: H&M

EBEW : Sparkle
worn on December 10th, 2011
This months EBEW is sequins and sparkle. Surprisingly, I don't own anything all sequined (say what?!). Oh wait, I do have sequined Converse All Stars. Whoops.
But I do also have tops that are blinged out a bit and have some sparkle. This counts, right?
P.S - Check back in a little bit for a super awesome giveaway!

EBEW: Shine On
When: December 12, 2011
I’ve never been a big fan of sequence or glitter. And while many of my favorite girls have sported the trend quite effortlessly, there’s something about the shine that just isn’t appealing to me. That is until I found this skirt! Man alive I’m in love!
After the initial excitement (and the realization that I might be able to make it as a Go Go girl now that I own this skirt) I actually considered returning the little beauty. Where would I wear her out? K and I don’t have any fancy events lined up and while I like to test the rules of appropriate office attire, I thought this would be pushing it a little too far.
So what did I do? I wore it to work anyways but made sure to dress her down with lots of layers and a graphic tee. Now that’s what I call corporate professional. I got a couple weary looks of concern for my mental health but whatevs. I’m fine being that girl.
