he missed the farm. above all, he missed being in charge - having his every wish fulfilled could do certain things to a man’s head, especially after having it done for so many years. but most of all, he missed how everything seemed to go his way back then, when in here.. well, he couldn’t say the same. it was not even 9 am and he already had a ruined shirt, a wasted cup of coffee and surely had gotten a few laughs out of the teens that had been passing through him in the hallway. not that he cared, though. opening the door to an empty classroom, edgar removed his shirt and after examining it for a few seconds, decided he surely couldn’t go into class with that. thankfully, he always carried a spare white t-shirt on his bag - who knew what could happen, right? he was about to reach into his bag for it when the door opened behind him suddenly, making him turn around, raising an eyebrow at the person. “my apologies, i really did think the classroom would be unoccupied for the next hour or so. had a little coffee accident this morning and.. i couldn’t possibly go back to change and be here in time for the next class.” not to mention he was shirtless, his ruined red shirt laying on the ground. just his luck. throwing the white shirt on, edgar turned to the other person, offering them a small smile. it was a good thing he could always get what he wanted out of people, especially in such a situation. “i’ll be on my way, if you want to use the classroom.”
