she was truly her mother’s daughter, it seemed, even if lizzie didn’t want to admit it before. she had looked over her planner almost a thousand times, to make sure that she and hope had everything they would need for the trip and now that they were here and it was finally becoming real, lizzie was nervous, which was extremely weird. why would she be nervous? no monster was coming out of the woods to kill them this, they were completely safe and if not, the brightest witch of their age would be right here, sharing a tent with her, which was exactly what was making her nervous. she didn’t know why but she was and not even looking over the inventory a thousand times had made it any better. what was going on with her, lately? it was just hope, after all. hope mikaelson, with the perfect magic skills and the perfect smile, who had any and every reason to believe she should be queen of the world and yet, was the most humble person lizzie knew. it was amazing, really. coughing as hope approached her again, lizzie threw a smile in her direction, before returning to the inventory. “alright, mikaelson, i think we’re all set. i set up the tent, we’ve got spare clothing if necessary and even some snacks that i brought, so.. i think that’s it?” scratching the back of her neck, lizzie sighed. “i don’t know, i feel like we’re forgetting something very important.”
