Why would you change the url you've had for 6 years? You guys were known for it. A honestly its not smart of fanblogs to change it especially after so long. Your blog was perfect why change it?

Not a lot of people knew that we were a fanblog, because our URL looked misleading. We were also getting a lot of fanmail/messages thinking we were Emma herself, that this was Emma’s tumblr, so when we merged blogs with EmmaWatsonSource, it made more sense to use the new URL! emmacdwatson now redirects to emmawatsonsource, so our blog can still be accessed by our old URL.

In terms of our blog itself, the content is actually mostly the same, except we have a couple more admins on the blog, a new theme, and we hope to provide our followers with more content and be more active overall, since we were struggling before (but I’m glad you enjoyed the blog as it originally was, too!).

Oh so does that mean you have some applications saved?

Yes, but if the applications have been in our inbox for a long time, we are unlikely to review them again unless the applicant re-applies, since we can’t be sure that they would still be interested in joining/be able to commit anymore.

Do people ever reapply? Or is there totally no chance of getting it once you've tried?

People do sometimes reapply! We currently have members who were accepted after the second or third time of applying. It all depends on the quality of each application’s gifs and edits at the time, and how much we feel like we need new members. Currently, however, the admins are also not around as much, so we have put reviewing applications on the back burner.

I (Jo/itsfinnick) have not seen it yet, no, the movie didn’t come out in theatres here in Norway, so I’m waiting for it to come out on DVD to watch it :)

So, I have a kind of silly thing to ask. I am a huge fan of Emma. I have loved her ever since I was a child and I think she's simply amazing. But there's this huge controversy of her not being a good actress and faking everything she does for the HeForShe campaign and I just know she doesn't get as much credit as she deserves. My friend thinks she's terrible and I'd like some arguments that could be applied in real life to make her see how wrong she is and how great Emma really is. Can you help?

Well, first of all, HeForShe is a campaign that is part of the work of the UN, and I don’t think the leaders of such a great organisation would allow for Emma to be the face of their campaign if it wasn’t an issue that is very, very close to her heart, and it is. Whether or not she is a good acress is really something that each and every person decides for themselves? I love Emma, and I have since I was 10 years old, (I’m 25 now), but even I can admit that not all her acting has been great, though most of it is :)

I think her work in equality speaks for itself of how fantastic she is. But people are allowed their opinions. Just keep on loving her, despite what your friend says. She can’t tell you what to or think :)

are you accepting applications for affiliates?

Yes, yes we are. It has been slow on my part, doing admin work, but I will contact everyone that has messaged us, asking to be affiliates, and ask if they are still interested, and I will update our affiliates once I get replies :)
