all she could do was let out a slightly exasperated sigh as she snatched the book from him, trying her best to remain collected. “ you may try and try, messere, but you forget faces are something i excel at. no matter how many times you proclaim to be your brother, i am not fooled. ” surely one may call her memory almost scary, being able to recall the smallest things so clearly, but it certainly helped her more than it did harm. in this case it helped her to not look like a fool, as they surely had made many feel at one point in their lives.
