“My, I wasn’t expecting so many companions tonight.”
Tsuki smiled as the rabbit in her arms gave her cheek a small nudge, ears laying flat in a calmed position. It had been some time since the woman had sat down and relaxed with rabbits on the surface, so she was enjoying the moment greatly. They were always so sweet.
However, each of the small creatures stood at attention when a sound in the distance reached their ears. Without warning they each darted off in a different direction, causing Tsuki to jerk up in surprise. Recovering from the small start, the woman rested her hand upon the hammer at her side and looked about cautiously- listening for what the rabbits had heard. Another animal perhaps?

{ ❖ }- Akarui didn’t even bother to look down at the man in her arms as she walked, though not due to a lack of respect; more than anything, she needed to keep her eyes focused ahead and be wary of any potential ambushes. It was a relief to hear the man had awoken, however, and the faint smile that tugged at her lips proved so.
“It’s good that you are awake now, Uesugi-dono.” The poor lord must have been confused though... Surely to suddenly awaken in the arms of your rival’s trusted weapon’s spirit was a shocking thing, but it was better than waking in the arms of the enemy, or not at all.
“You needn’t thank me, however. To have let my master’s rival be slaughtered on the battlefield while unconscious would have been far too disrespectful. Are you alright, Uesugi-dono?”
