Sakon decided to have a quick stroll around campus to make him feel better. Occasionally kicking the ground, he kept thinking about the disapproving look Mitsunari-senpai gave him when he saw his results posted. They weren’t super low, but they weren’t good enough for the student counsel. 

When he glanced back up, he saw Tsuruhime doing... Something. 

Changing into a more upbeat mood, he asked, “Whatcha doing there, Tsuruhime-chan~?!”

          ⚡️ “I’m not really into fortune tellin’, kid, so if that’s                    all you’re here for, you can turn right back around.”

     Masamune didn’t honestly think that was it, but he thought he’d get that part out of the way. He’d had enough of future sight for one lifetime, and he wasn’t about to get mixed up in it again. He didn’t know the girl too well. In fact, he wasn’t sure he knew her at all other than just by what she looked like. Little girl, carrying a bow, dressed like a priestess...that fit her description all right.

          ⚡️ “Aren’t you supposed to be hangin’ out on a boat                    somewhere yellin’ at a pirate to get lost?

     He didn’t know what to make of this. Maybe he should just let her talk.

littlecranetsuru is probably the best Tsuruhime I have ever seen. Even the RPer that plays her is very much like the muse! I hope that she enjoys being here as much as I enjoy seeing her around. --Anonymous

I really love your portrayal of Tsuruhime and I thank them for giving my OC Kishiko a try. Thanks to you, I think I’ve developed her a lot more and now we have a the anti-sea ogre crew, haha. Kenshin was impressed by how far she had come in one session. Already the room was coated in frost, and it was near wintery levels of cold. She had quite the potential- with persistence she could become just as powerful as he was. “Well it helps that I like the cold,” he teased, before noticing her shivering.

The poor dear felt freezing when she sat down on him. His hands rubbed her shoulders gently, tilting his head to the side and smiling gently. “Well you’re free to find if I am or not… Little Crane,” he replied, rubbing her back comfortingly.  She was his student now- he’d see to it she was well taken care of.

I don’t have any BASARA games but Samurai Heroes ;-; I would love to know more about this stage If I may? (・∀・)

Well, it’s one of the big stages in 4 that has Yoshiteru (the shogun) at the end of it. Think of it like the various Sekigaharas in Samurai Heroes, for scale and “importance”, in that there are several variations.

In this particular stage, the Shogun’s religion-inclined retainers gather together to protect him in the ruins of the Ounin War at Kyoto. So, Tsuruhime, Motonari, and Kenshin. They player fights each one and upon defeat they retreat and try to lead the player into a trap. Tsuru snipes at the player from atop pillars you can break, Motonari runs inside buildings while enemies bumrush you, and Kenshin has ninja pop out of puddles at you. Then you fight Yoshiteru.

Kenshin does talk to Tsuruhime a little but but I’m not exactly sure what they say to her. It does sound like something kind, at least~! I do know that at Kenshin’s Kawanakajima stage, Tsuruhime asks Kenshin, on behalf of “Himiko”, why Kenshin decided to follow Yoshiteru. Kenshin replies, basically, that Tsuruhime should reconsider listening to this “Himiko”.

See in 4, Tsuru thinks an ancient priestess-queen of Japan, Himiko, is talking to her and making her into the new ‘Himiko’-- surprise surprise it’s really Motonari trying to manipulate her.
