A Red Riding Hood AU
You always visited Ryugazaki-baasan’s house to give her your homegrown vegies and fruits, and sometimes your cooked meals
Always in your red hood, whenever you were out visiting her or just any of your neighbours in general
One day you met Ryoga, the wolf in town! His ears are big and he has fangy teeth, very cute!
People tend to tell you to not speak to him though. Lord knows what he’d do to you
It made you more curious. Why were they always saying so?
He was always hanging out under a tree, usually napping; sometimes he had his younger brother along, you felt that he looked harmless? He’s literally just minding his own business
Ryoga always smiled at you whenever you passed by, you would greet him and sometimes it’ll turn into some small talk
Eventually the both of you grew rlly fond of each other! And he would always give you oranges, lots of them. And they were all very very fresh
You’d cook for him in return, sometimes you would incorporate the oranges he gave in your dishes. It always turned out better than your usual dishes
“People around here must’ve told you to stay away from me right?” He’d chuckle “I really wonder why you’re still hanging out with me honestly,”
You would say that he’s such a decent person to be with! And you think that he’s cute. You tried your best to hide your blush whenever you complimented him
That caught him off guard honestly, and well he leaned in closer to your face and asked you “Would mind if I kissed you then?” you went “?!” with your eyes wide
“Just kidding,” he laughed and poked your nose.
You’d pout and say that if he joked around like that again, you wouldn’t cook for him again
When the townspeople saw you casually hanging around him, they started to be rather well? Less cautious? You were very famous within town since you always gave them stuff
Ryoga was a bit awkward at first but he adapted to it
You would tell him that you’re happy for him! And how things will go easier for him now that people are cutting him some slack!
“(Y/n)” Ryoga called you out and before you could respond, he’d given you a hug
“I think I’m in love with you,” he whispered softly into your ear and you blushed but immediately told him that you felt the same! “Really?” he asked and you nodded; he nibbled a bit on your ear after
You’d tell him that it tickles and you’d start tickling him and it would turn into a tickling fight till the both of you got tired
The both of you would lie down on the grass together, trying to regain your breaths
Ryoga turned to you and opened his arms so you could just rest on his chest and you’d play with his wolf ears
He’d kiss you on the head and you guys would nap together
