Why you need this awesome water bottle.
One thing I've realized during the agonizing process of packing and moving—I think I'm an obsessive collector. Depending on my item du jour, I tend to amass these in different designs, patterns, sizes and colors.
One of my many objet d'obsession are water bottles. I have them in aluminum, mini-jugs, small, tall, pink, blue, purple, etc. This became a problem when we moved because our kitchen space is much smaller than what we were used to, so a lot had to be given out/sold.
When I came across this at Echo Store, it seemed like the perfect answer to my water bottle dilemma (what dilemma? Haha, I'm obviously reaching here).
Enter Vapur.
According to their site, Vapur is the “anti-bottle” because there are so many plastic water bottles floating around our planet, with only around 12% being recycled.
Apart from that, Vapur is a fold-and-go water container (since they're not bottles) and takes less energy to produce and ship.

Plus it solves my other water bottle problem: whenever I bring reusable bottles with me, I tend to a) leave them behind (especially when empty) b) not bring them at all because I hate lugging them around when they're empty and I'm in the mall or wherever.
The container comes with a color-coordinated carabiner where you tuck the rolled portion.
It rolls up so compact it’s easy to stow in your bag when empty.
Since Vapur is fold and go, I can roll it up once I've emptied it and put in my bag, so I really have no excuse to not try and save the planet by bringing water in a reusable container.

Of course, once I filled it up with water, I realized what I had just bought: a reusable Zesto doy pack minus the fake orange flavored liquid. Haha.
I shouldn’t have visited the site though. That’s when I discovered that Vapur comes in limited edition prints, like this special one for MoMA:

I love aromatherapeutic massage oils! One time I was looking through the products at the Echo Store, this bottle caught my eye. I am not (yet) concerned with wrinkles and cellulites, well okay a little, and the name sure got me to pick up the bottle.
It smelled divine! My thing with virgin coconut oil is that niyog smell that reminds me of latik, which is good on sapin-sapin, but not when it's left for an extended period on your skin. This oil smelled of pure relaxation. Eucalyptus is a favorite scent, and the hint of ginger is subtle.
I haven't yet used it for massage, but I do use it almost every night as an afterbath body oil. I love how it cools my entire body. In this feverish weather called El Niño, this body oil is heaven-sent. Since I stay in a house not my own, I don't want to use up their electricity by turning on the airconditioner. A spritz on the neck and name, elbowpits, kneepits, torso and back, and I sleep in peace.
Will it actually work its anti-wrinkle and anti-cellulite powers? That remains to be seen. I bought it not because of the claim, but because of the scent, and at P180, this massage oil is, indeed, a darned good thing!
