I found this challenge via the beautiful graphics made by @kimbasprite. The Legacy of Hearts challenge was created by @simplyrockie and it looked really fun. I’ve been wanting to explore Lovestruck in more depth and this challenge is the perfect opportunity to do just that!

Let me start by saying that I do not like the color pink (unless it’s a cherry blossom.) It’s just an ugly color to me and I don’t like seeing it. So, when I saw that the first generation of this challenge was centered around the color pink, I was wary. However, I got to work on the founder and I fell in love with him. He is so adorable that I can overlook the pink for him c:

Without further ado, meet Ronan Dokidoki! He moved to Ciudad Enamorada to chase his dreams of finding ‘the one.’ Look at this cutiiiiie.

Upon moving here, he joined the Romance Consultant career and his first task was to watch romance reality TV. He kept getting distracted by the cute penguin TV though c:

The welcome wagon included someone who piqued Ronan’s curiosity.

He went straight for the bear, introducing himself and asking about the costume.

Only, the bear wasn’t too receptive to this question.

So, he asked again.

He had a sudden urge to hug the bear because he could feel the aura of sadness radiating off of him and he just wanted to help.

I guess the sadness is contagious, though…

After this, he asked once more about the costume and it became clear that the bear would not budge.

Instead, he switched his strategy, asking about why the bear is so sad instead.

The bear left after this, leaving Ronan to his thoughts. He still had guests to entertain, though!

“Welcome to the neighborhood, man. Let us know if you need anything.”

“Thank you! I’m happy to be here.”

Will these two become best friends? Signs point to yes, but who knows what will happen c:

After everyone left, he returned to his work assignment, but he had trouble focusing for multiple reasons.

Also… IS THAT KYLE KYLESON??

He was desperate to find his soulmate, so he hurried up and made his dating profile in the hopes of finding that person.

After that, he decided he would help the bear! He headed over to the park, finding this cute heart-shaped pond ❤

He’s never fished before so he wasn’t too confident that this pursuit would be fruitful, but he knew he had to try!

With determination, Ronan tossed the line into the pond. He figured it wouldn’t take too long to just fish out a ring, it’s not like it would fight back.

Holy mother of Grim… he has no fishing skill, how the fuck did he catch a fish THAT BIG??

Oh, he caught something! Is it the ring? >.>

Spoiler: it was not the ring.

This boy spent ALL NIGHT fishing and didn’t find the damn ring. He also realized he hates fishing so that’s great, I guess.

Look at all this! All these fish/items and not a single ring. Does it even exist??

He was starving so he used the grill to make himself some food.

And since he was out all night and quite tired, he chose to work from home.

His assignment was to give unsolicited advice which Ted did not appreciate. Or maybe it’s just the mother plant that disagrees with the advice.

He likes a good mystery so, after getting some rest, he decided to go on a blind date! I did not expect L to be his date ;_;)

They started talking and she immediately started being mean to him! What the fuck is your problem?? No wonder you’re still single.

They didn’t really interact much after that because he deserves better than her, honestly. He distracted himself by dancing the rest of the date away.

He witnessed some floating flowers which was pretty neat.

The date didn’t end well, of course, but at least he got a free book out of it!

Right after the date ended, it was time for work so he didn’t get to shower or relax. When he made it home, he was not in a good mood. He just wanted a quick meal, to take a warm shower, and then to crash.

He was only asleep for an hour before this fucker showed up.

Not tonight, Satan. You will not touch my boy.
