Echoes of Struggle:
A Journey Through Anxiety
In the shadows of despair, I tread,
Each day a burden, heavy as lead.
Twenty miles I walked, my feet worn,
Fired from work, my spirit torn.
Seeking solace in the library's embrace,
But even there, I can't find grace.
For my broken computer mocks my plight,
A year of silence, no end in sight.
Repair shops refuse, their promises vain,
Lies upon lies, my patience wanes.
Stuck in this cycle, unable to flee,
Anxiety grips, consuming me.
Blacklisted from jobs, a bleak landscape,
Locksmiths deceive, adding to my scrape.
Resistors in my pocket, a glimmer of hope,
Yet doubts linger, like shadows lope.
If they work, a chance to roam,
In search of a haven, a new home.
A computer shop in a distant town,
A flicker of light, before I drown.
But for now, in the depths I'll dwell,
Sleeping for solace, in a silent spell.
Eighteen hours of peace, a fleeting reprieve,
In this world of chaos, I seek to believe.
