... Hello, Reece. -Echo hesitantly pats the other woman on the shoulder before turning and leaving.-
"Uh... Hey, Echo." Reece's face turned up in confusion as she watched Echo walk away before muttering to herself "...the hell was that?"
echospartan replied to your post: Are you shipped with Echo?
It means we serve on the same ship, I believe.
--
Ah, that would make sense. I've never even used that term before, though. "Shipped."
echospartan replied to your post: You don’t smile as much as the rest of the squad. Why?
“I’m always observant,” Echo stated with mild confusion. Was that bad? She never understood the social graces that the rest of her squad so easily had, “I only found it peculiar compared to the rest of the squad that you don’t. Sir.”
--
"It's quite alright. Actually, that is good." He said, a low huff escaped him before he let out a slight chuckle. "Being observant is always good." Seth rested on the wall behind him, tinkering with the M6H Handgun he had his hands on. "I guess... I just really need a reason to smile?" He really didn't know the answer to this observation. Why didn't he smile as often? "You've given me something to think about, Echo." He chuckled once again, this time not quite holding it back. "I'll get back to you once I have a better answer." The male Spartan put the handgun down on the desk in front of him and walked towards his squad mate. "How about you, Echo? Why don't you smile often?"
You don't smile as much as the rest of the squad. Why?
"I-- Hm." Seth stared at Echo, raising his right eyebrow. "That is a good question. And... that is very observant of you, Echo." He truly was surprised over the fact that she had been this observant of him and the rest of the squad. "I smile enough," he started, a small smile forming on his lips as he stared at her. "You've just gotta dig deep, I guess."

You’re incorrigible.
So's your sense of humor.

Lieutenant Commander Jace Shepard, Alliance Navy. Interesting armor.
Fireteam Phoenix: Operation S&D.
Seth made his way to the Pelican, his eyes scanning the deck for his squad mates. He didn't locate any of them. The Spartan IV placed his S5 sniper rifle on his back, which let out a familiar click. He then got a hold of a M392 Marksman rifle, inspecting it carefully.
Phoenix has very high expectations to meet, Spartan.
Commander Palmer's words echoed in his head. Seth had hopes in his team. He hadn't seen all of them in action, but their files spoke for themselves. He was certain that they weren't going to disappoint.
"Sir, twenty minutes till take off!"
The pilot's voice broke the silence, taking Seth's concentration with it too. "Understood," He replied back, looking back at the deck afterwards.
"Any time now, Phoenix."
