packaging update :-)

hi guys, i have been working towards 100% plastic free packaging for my etsy shop and we are getting closer and closer every day! :-)

today the glassine bags arrived for glasses cloths. these will be for any stock of glasses cloths that isn’t already packed into a plastic sleeve. stock that’s already been packed will stay in the existing sleeve to avoid excess waste.

for those who aren’t familiar with glassine, it is a paper product that is 100% kerbside recyclable, acid free, and is also water resistant!

100% Compostable Mailers

Last week we switched our grey Recyclable mailers to these awesome new fully COMPOSTABLE black bags, and don’t they look incredible!

Big shout out to r3pack for their wonderful products and super fast service. I ordered these at about 5pm on a weekday and they were at my doorstep the following morning 🙌🏽

I’m always really conscious about the amount of plastic and paper wastage there is in what I do, so I’m continuously trying to find ways to reduce waste and use products that will be more eco-friendly.

I hate the fact that I’ve had to use bubble wrap but luckily these guys have a paper based alternative that I’m hoping to switch to very soon!
