I will love me no matter what beauty trends come and go. I will love me even if fat, normal bodies fall out of fashion. I will love me even if “ethnically ambiguous” features go out of vogue. I will love me if curly hair is faux pas. I will love me no matter what because having a body isn’t a trend. I am not a fashion accessory, I am a human being.

Not sure if therapy really is quasi-intellectual bullshit peddled by people who only have an academic relationship to the problems us patients face or if I'm just bitter to the bone (though my many layers of newly acquired juicy juicy flesh) from all the bullshit half-assed therapies I had to sit through.
