New Pod 046 by Ed Vertov & Lena Deen! Bio / Lena Deen / Dj, Producer | Los Angeles, CA, US. Lena was a member of the promotional group and female dj's community "Habits Die" (consisted of 3 people - Ryba, Yuka and Lena Deen). The Project gained credibility in the event organization with an involvement of foreign artists in Russia. She had also well-received back-to-back DJ duo: "Toxic tuna" (with Alla Farmer), which was a successful part of the "Habits Die" parties and «SSMESS» parties of the legendary moscow club “Solyanka”. Until the sumer 2011 Lena plays on a regular basis in Moscow, but in Summer 2011 Lena moves to Los Angeles where she lives now. Ed Vertov / Dj, Producer, Label owner | Los Angeles, CA, US. Ed was born in Moscow in 1977 and moved to Los Angeles in 1998, where he went to school to pursue his dream to become a filmmaker, but in 2003 Ed and his old time friend Anton Kubikov of SCSI-9 (Kompakt) decided to set up an international electronic music record label Pro-Tez Records. It took two years to set it up. It was launched in 2005 and joined vast Kompakt Distribution Family. Now the record label is getting worldwide recognition and with number of releases proved to be an exquisite music vessel for young and never heard before musicians. Ed worked for years at Amoeba record store in Hollywood where he was deeply involved in electronic music department. He travels around and performs in Los Angeles, Chicago, Moscow, Berlin and makes music which will come out one day. Ed also organized his own events called Quadrant in Los Angeles with John Tejada that were a very intimate vinyl listening parties with close friends and music lovers. Now Ed Travels more extensively between Los Angels and Moscow where he performs as a dj. In October 2010 Pro-Tez records label Showcase reached Berlin for the second time at the Club Arena. Pro-Tez records is at full power now with 35 vinyl release, 8 Digital and 2 CD albums. In 2012 Ed Joined Mount Analog Vinyl shop in LA as one of the curators and buyers!
