ego death top five!!! drop urs please xoxo
good ol’ days. instantly my favourite. the silver spring reference made me jump for joy, and the chorus is literal perfection. the outro “secret love, secret love,” is just so addicting i love it all! also i literally named my blog after this song…guess you could call me miss paramore…
dream girl in shibuya. when i see this live, i know i’ll sob my eyes out. until then, i’ll be thinking about how heartbreakingly this song presents the idea of fearing a loved one is getting bored of you. i know the random japanese lyrics can put people off, but to me, the message of the song and the haunting melody draw me back in.
true believer. such an important song with what’s happening in the world right now. the way the lyrics critique the monetisation of christianity have me lying awake at night .i feel it’s a very important statement, especially for hayley, to make. also the chorus makes me want to start ripping at my shirt like a werewolf under a full moon. (you could say that for a lot of ed@abp songs tbh) the piano in this haunts my sleep. i have actually lost sleep over this song.
eb@abp. i know, title track. however, as a creative, this song gets me in my feelings. makes me worry if i’ll peak at karaoke bars and bachlorette parties. it’s danceable, you can sing along with it, it contains a dig at morgan wallen-what more could you want?
parachute. took me a while to decide to include this, but then i remembered i’ve almost cried on public transport to this so maybe it deserves to be in my top five. feels like something you could jump around and go crazy in your bedroom to. the bridge is awesome, and the lyrics make me look like a swiftie because i get so hyped over them.
