Eddie would fight anyone that didn't say cheerleading wasn't a real sport. He knew how hard Chrissy practiced and for how long. He also knew it came with plenty of bruises and injuries. That said, he'd never seen Chrissy bruised up this badly, at least not up close and person.
He was sitting at the picnic table, in what was now dubbed their spot. He was doodling characters for the new D&D campaign and only lifted his head from his notebook when he heard Chrissy's voice.
His eyes grew wide the second he laid eyes on her. He set the pen down on his notebook and jumped out of his seat, rushing over to her. "Chrissy, what the hell happened?!" He actually went ahead and touched her, grabbing her face gently with both his hands as if to take a closer look. "Do you need ice?"
