Emily isn’t religious at all, so it’s more about spirituality and being connected to the world. Not be an embarrassing cliche, but she’d probably consider art to be her religion, because she’s so acutely devoted to every aspect of it. If you asked Emily, she’d just say that she’d never try to take religion away from anybody, but it’s just not something she can personally subscribe to.
