Okay but honestly?

I could be wrong here, but I almost wanna say the people responsible for sending  all this hate to people like Matt’s wife are either 

a) not primarily from the tumblr side of the fandom (meaning they mainly use ig or google + and haven’t seen all the shit that’s previously gone down/they’re young/whatever)

b) they’re intentionally starting trouble to make the EW fandom look worse than they already do, whether it be ebcause they don’t like the show, it’s fans, both, whatever.

It might just be me but I feel like we shouldn’t be destroying each other over this when Tumblr’s not the only place where you can find a large amount of Eddsworld fans. ://
