@abbottandmosley The story behind Abbott & Mosley is based on the development of the watch dials of our first collection, which are all crafted of Italian marble. To be certain that it was even possible to manufacture such a thin and unique dial of marble, we contacted our friend, Richard Mosley, who works as a watchmaker in London. Richard told me about a watch with a dial made of Italian marble that he had serviced a few years ago. The owner of this watch was a man named William Abbott who turned out to be a collector of uniquely crafted wristwatches. We got a hold of mr. Abbott and was fortunate to be able to see the design of his marble watch and how the dial was constructed.
