He took a deep breath, staring out at the carnage just barely visible beyond the pillar. It wasn’t in his nature to stand by and watch, even if this wasn’t his land he could see people were being thrown to the wolves out here. A young woman came up beside him, brandishing a sword of her own. She rather small compared to him, but she still seemed determined.
“Going back out to fight as well?” Hopefully he’d catch her attention before she strode off into it; going out alone wasn’t ideal after all... (he mused, as he himself wasnt planning on doing precisely the same.)
