I entered the RWBY amino’s winter art challenge and decided to draw Ilie and Edel building a snowman cuz Schnee siblings go brrrr
Hey so it’s Edel’s birthday (January 2nd) and I don’t have much to post but here are some little fun facts about her that I wanted to write down
Edel is, as people who keep up with SONI obviously know, the younger Schnee sibling. She very much so fills the role, being the one who is very inspired by Ilie and clings to him.
Of course, this has lateral effects since Ilie is a mess of a person and can be a dick sometimes
Edel is the heiress to the SDC after Ilie stepped away from the role. Luckily, the SDC is a shell of what it was so to her the pressure isn’t as heavy.
Edel’s full name is Edelweiss, which to Emerald and Weiss sounds like their names combined.
Despite being born in Vale, she’s more cold proof than you’d expect.
Edel becomes a huntress, getting a license to directly help SDC operations in its new prime era.
Edel is best friend’s with Mocha, Coco and Velvet’s daughter (she is an oc of my friend who she ended up wanting to include in SONI, since crosshares was a blank slate I was chill with it). The two were kind of forced to be friends growing up thanks to Weiss and Coco becoming best friends around the time the two were born. Luckily, they enjoy each other a lot and Edel is very willing to fight anyone who hurts Mocha. The two are on a team together.
Said team has zero info as of now.
Edel was very saddened when Ilie went to Beacon and she was spiteful towards him for a short while.
During SONI, Edel convinces team SONI to take her to Atlas Academy to let her get a taste of training in the training room.
Naturally she gets boinked
Weiss and Emerald were very upset
Edel is 7 years younger than Ilie, but the two are still close.
