You all must’ve thought you’d escaped my Nuts and Dolts angst for Nuts and Dolts week but that’s where you’re wrong! Day 8, au bonus day. In which I might be spoiling A Maiden’s Lie which doesn’t really matter because I probably will never write it! Tldr; a cover for a fanfic that depicts Ruby and Penny. Penny at the start of the fic and Ruby at the end of the fic. You can kind of guess why Ruby decides to go chop to her hair, but if you don’t know it has to do with… marital problems.

It is just a sketch essentially, because I have no time to make an actual decent piece, but you know what? Yolo, I make them suffer a lot this art style works well in depicting a lot of stylization in my fanfiction into actual art. @nuts-and-dolts-week

Bee kids!

I don’t even know what compelled me to make this - I guess since I never really made refs of any sort for them? Minus Dawn of course but still

Anyways yes my bee kids, I had fun mixing up genetics for them.

For those wondering, Helios (formally Skye, they’re the same person I swear) got Tai’s eyes. Yang probably has the gene, likely like incomplete dominance or whatever it’s called.

Ahem anyways Dawn’s obvi the responsible one. She’s training to be a huntress, very recently formally started it 🤭

Helios and Selene are pretty much Yin and Yang in similarities. They compliment each other.

Yes that means their middle names are in fact Yin and Yang. Yang only was allowed to do that because she’s the one who carried them.

Either way yeah not much to add. They’re pretty much background characters in SONI so there isn’t much to elaborate on them.
