(ages 0-10) eden became obsessed with the ocean the moment she set foot on sand. after watching a very insightful documentary, eden learnt that the ocean was in danger, and she decided that it needed her help. every weekend she demanded to go to the beach so that she could run around with a little bag and clear away any trash she found lying around. while she was on one of her vacations in hawaii, eden saved her first animal at the age of 7, a turtle that her and her friend lani had found tangled in a plastic bag. (ages 10-16) her father wanted her to study law, to follow in his footsteps and put her smarts to good use. for a while, she complied, took summer jobs at the courthouse, and even joined the debate teams -- but in the end, her desire to be a marine biologist was too great. (ages 16-20) she moved town when she was 16, leaving behind santa monica to join a new highschool. it was there that eden fell in love for the first time, she loved him deeply, but for the longest time they were simply just friends. he always had a new girl on his arm, and everyone loved him. when she finally let him take her out on a date, it became painfully obvious that he was not ready to commit to her, nor was he ready to commit to anyone else. however, it was too late now, eden had already slept with him and told him how she felt. they dated on and off for years, and insecurities got the better of her, the fights became frequent, and their relationship became toxic. it was during this time that eden developed a severe eating disorder, desperate to be the prettiest girl, to win his attentions and keep him from straying. she became obsessed with her looks, even getting a breast augmentation at the age of 18 in attempt to love herself more. none of it really mattered, he loved her, he was sure he did, but no matter how hard she cried, and no matter how she begged, their relationship continued to struggle due to the males own insecurities and problems. (ages 20-present) now eden has an ever growing presence on social media with 4.9 M followers, she shines a light on ocean crises, and her countless charities that help raise money towards preserving the ocean life. she’s in a healthier mindset after returning from college, now pursuing her dream career within the branches of marine biology.
