​I didn't know that was a thing. The comment about there being too many references makes it seem real and relevant to this specific story, though the comment about a story this short that was just them having sex not having enough development or originality (sorry the sex wasn't original enough?) does seem a bit odd.

Yeah they didn’t specify, but if ASAP Rocky was who they were referring to, that is pretty crazy. Big if true.

what I've noticed is ao3 has been having a huge influx of scammers and bots lately, I see them on every other fic I swear

​What's a bummer is that they've wisened up now and they'll start with a normal (if generic) comment and wait for you to reply before they start saying "hey, want to buy art from me?" so they seem like a real person. I'm always happy to get comments, so I tend to engage.

What is very funny is that they have this base set of responses, so they'll refer to all the "characters" as if they're fictional, which gives it away. No one would talk about Nick Fuentes in the way that they do.
