Just want to share my win !

I got accepted sa first choice kong internship at nag-onboard na ko kanina 🥹 so happehhhh. After many interviews, many applications, etc, found an offer na good enough for me rn, and work that I like to do right now huhu.

I will not think of this as me being lucky anymore (though that prolly played a role din naman), but this is mostly due to my hardwork, the consistency of me atleast showing up everysingle day, the small bits of habits that I formed through this, and the collective result of all of those things. I won't let anyone, even myself, tell me na "sinwerte lang ako" because I worked hard for this, and I will continue to achieve things because of the same passion, grit, hardwork, and perseverance that I have.

Ayun lang, a motivational post ?? hahahahhaparang paulit ulit lang sjnasabi ko everytime i post smth like this,,, but idk, i also need to remind myself everytime eh hehe, and this is one of myways to do so heh

2023 Goals/Resolutions!

Same as last year: take it slow and be gentler to myself. NO MORE SELF-DEPRECATING COMMENTS CUTIE

Be more present. Lessen my screen time to 4 hours per day by first half, 2 hours a day by second half.

Take care of my health (both physical and mental); Includes, sleeping 8 hours/day, eating 2-3 meals a day, working out regularly, meditations (reading)

Continue my gratitude journal

Manage to finish 3 things per day (to stop procrastinating)

More specific goals??

Graduate by the end of the year! (CLAIMING MAKAPAGPALIT NA NG SABLAY DP AT MAKALABAS NG UP!!)

Earn my own money and move out by August 2023

Get a drivers license

Start an IG account that will be a collection of reminders to myself

55 kg !!!

Learn jump rope haha! (already bought a jump rope hehe, waiting na lang na dumating)

Manifesting and claiming na mangyari ang mga ito this year. But if not, a reminder din na it's okay, the important thing is I survive another year and I have another one to make the others happen. And also look at the things that will happen(or happened) this year (2023) na I didn't plan, but I'm still thankful for.

how dating my bestfriend has been going so far

context: i mentioned how when i saw him last july 1st has the same home-y feeling when I saw him last january 2020 pre pandemic (when our relationship was only platonic) and then he said that. he always has this home-y feeling to me, he's always been the one I want to go home to and rest after a tiring day and I'm just extremely lucky he feels the same.

Ateneo vs. UP (Game 1)

Watched Game 1 last saturday. It was so intense and thrilling. Even though we only got gen ad tickets, I still enjoyed it so much.

There are a bunch of problems before watching this game...At first, me and my friend do not know how are we supposed to go to MoA Arena. But luckily we found our way there. The next one is we do not know where to eat and it's kinda late so we're running out of time. But we found our way to a japanese restaurant, ate there with still enough time to buy milk tea(hehe ✌) And of couuurse, we bought some milk teaaaaaa. Then went straight to arena.

Going there, we we're so scared that we'll not see anything from gen ad's post but we can still see them!!! like really! Everyone is so hyped even before the game started. Then eventuallyyyy, the game started. UP got the first which made the UP crowd cheeeer.

Much later in the game, and it's just getting more and more intense. Eventually it was half time. Ateneo is up by 2 points I think(pls just watch it on youtube. there is a video of the full game!) Then UP pep squad performed aaaaa. It's so beautiful 😭

after that, on the the third quarter, Bright was injured!!! so heartbreaking moment but later, he came baaaack aaaa. The game is almost at its end, and Ateneo is up by the 10 points. 1minute and I still have a lot of hope, and eventually the end came. UP lost by 9points 79-88. Yes, we lost in this game but in all of the UP Community, the UPmbt already won.

An Astronaut's Heart

wrote this poem when I was 16, probably broken hearted hahahaha. It's about knowing someone deeply, but still letting them go because they already picked someone else to hold them, even though that someone barely knows them.

It is poorly-written but still one of the favorite piece i wrote, kasi ramdam ko at this moment, nagsstart na ko magmove on. After a year of sleeping 15 hours a day, after a year na feeling ko wala ng bukas na darating, nasstart ko na matanggap - na siguro nga we can know people that deeply, we can learn about their deepest secret, or the small things that makes them happy. The big and small things about them, from their midnight snack preferences, to where they go when they don't wanna be found - pero ayun, they can still pick someone else who barely knows them, that's their choice, and questioning that would be selfish. (napost ko na ata to dito or sa old tumblr pa, posting it na rin para sure na di mawala kasi baka malock out na naman ako ng old icloud acct ko HAHAHA)

Nakatapos ulet ng isang Finals sa major! (so here's my hanash HAHAHA)

damn i think the reason why i enjoy this finals project sa PD kasi I'm like designing an app (or more like recreating it) JFNDVDHJSHSUS para sa ui/ux talaga ko loooooolll

Sobrang ganda rin ng sinabi ng prof ko at mga guest designers na kasama niya which is to really trust yourself and what you can do ngayon na parami na ng parami yung filmmakers (or like sa kahit anong job ig??). Just ayun, trust mo kung ano yung kaya mong gawin and what you can do best(kahit di mo pa yan alam ngayon) kasi... all these designs, kahit di nagaappeal sa same people, meron at merong lugar yan sa mundo! You have a place in this world huehue.
