The prompt for @amyscreativeside #IGQuiltFest is #finallyfinished I chose to share with you my quilt "once upon a time". It took me over 2 years to finish this one. The 12 traditional blocks in the upper right and Lower left corners are from the 2013 @aurifilthread bom and the 20 #paperpieced fairy tale blocks started with a bom run by @bungalowquilting ... I supplemented with more fairy tale patterns from #bubblestitch on Etsy. I used three of @lauragunnart #edgefabrics interchangeable-Lynn as my background with makes this a bit of a search and find piece. The closer you get the more you see!!!! Through the middle is little red riding hood walking through the woods to grandma's house with the big bad wolf watching her. . . . . And the bottom right is goldilocks with the 3 bears, 3 bowls, 3 chairs, and 3 beds . . . This was quilted by the lovely Marcia Wachuta of @craftysewing
