For the ask game! Here’s a secret: I got engaged to a guy who could barely speak the same language as me after knowing him for two weeks. It’s almost our two year wedding anniversary this month and 3 years together soon. My mom was 100% sure it would last like a month max so she didn’t try and stop it. I think she probably hella regrets that now lmfaooo (my mom sucks that’s secret two)
Awww, that’s actually such an amazing story! Thank you so much for sharing it with me! This is great! Honestly I don’t think time is that much of the essence when you just fit as people and you got *that* feeling. I am so happy that you two are together and happy right now. I wish you all the best and that you’re safe in these uncertain times.
Also, your mom can kiss your butt cause you guys turned out pretty great. My mom sucks too, so I get that!
Thanks for sharing!

Things I have learnt from the two projects:
The importance of user research and user testing. How the user can provide useful insights to help you improve the designs.
When working in a group project, I found that it doesn’t matter how amazing the ideas are, or what our individual design tastes are. The most important thing is to provide the user with the best user experience possible for your design.
The power of online sharing software like Dropbox and Google Drive. This is because when we started the project we found it hard to keep the design style consistent with each other. So through using these software, we are able to work on the same files at the same time. Which allows us to make any changes quickly, while keeping our designs consistent.
I have learnt how to use Adobe Experience Design software. I found it much easier to do screen designs on Experience Design than Illustrator. It is much more efficient.
I have discovered a software call Colour Oracle that you can install on your computer. Which help you see what your design colour choice looks like under three different colour blind conditions (deuteranopia, protanopia and tritanopia).
Idea
A similar idea of our from google app store by using your GPS position, the area around you becomes visible on the map. So you can see where you have been and discover new unknown locations. We are going to make it better by adding extra feature which makes exploring more rewarding and fun. Also we are going to improve on the visuals.
Visual Research
The contrast in the mood of the design, one side is quite bright and cheerful whereas the other is quite dark and solemn.
One idea is to allow the user to set its radius of exploration.
A message friends system and allows you to share task/section of the map?
Visual Research.
I like how it displays the extra task informations and the highlight of the route taken.
Maybe we can having number or icon to show task points on the map, with red as uncompleted, Orange as work in progress and green as completed.
We can maybe have a gallery of the images from the completed tasks. Which allows you to share with friend and maybe give you the information on the image when you click on it.
Maybe a filter system? explore by image, difficulty, rating/fun level?
Idea brainstorm in class Some sort of city exploration app.
