I’m so disappointed in this season of survivor. At the beginning the idea of it was very promising, but the ending sucked. Devens was finding idols one after the other like this army man from Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers. It just raised questions whether idols are planted for concrete players or not. The thing about edge of extinction... well, it was unnecessary at all. Chris returned with all the knowledge to final six. C’mon. This thing completely messes up other players’ games, and not in a good way. It’s not interesting to watch. Redemption island idea is much more interesting. Then the returnees from the edge are given idols. THERE ARE TOO MANY IDOLS AND ADVANTAGES NOW. Basically, they could have just put 1 mln $ in Chris’s bag instead of the idol. Finally, 13 people lived on the edge for no apparent reason. Either make a couple more challenges for them to give more shots of returning or what. It really looked like the show runners wanted to just minimize their costs and not provide the players with the hotel.

In my opinion, Survivor develops right now in completely wrong direction. The advantages should not appear in this game at all, the idols should not appear immediately on the island after they had been used. Also, they should be located in challenges, so the players would have to risk being caught while trying to get one. This game was a social and physical one, and now it has become like card game where some players have all the aces.

I had really high expectations for this season, ‘cause I really like three of the returning players, but the decisions made by producers this season completely ruined it. The 40th season is coming. You better not blow it too
