Celebrating Omega Speedmaster chronographs with artwork depicting Mercury astronaut Walter Wally Schirra aboard the “Sigma 7″ capsule during Mercury-Atlas 8 mission in October 1962. Schirra had chosen to wear his personal Omega Speedmaster CK2998 on the 9 hours 13 minutes mission. This colourful impression by Dutch space artist Ed Hengeveld clearly shows the Omega chronograph at his left wrist, the iconic watch would become known as the FOIS - First Omega In Space.
